JoinUp is a Barcelona startup that has energized the taxi sector through the project JoinUp Taxi. To help them, at Doonamis we developed the mobile application so users can call a cab both on the spot and book one ahead of time. The great innovation over other applications on the market is that JoinUp Taxi offers a cab sharing option, thus offering its users economic and ecological savings.
iPhone and Android Application
Doonamis developed two applications for iPhone and Android systems, one for the driver profile and another for the passenger. In both cases the application is native, since user experience is essential, as are native features such as the GPS and broadcast positioning, PUSH notifications for managing service status, and local databases are used.
Web
To promote the implementation and uptake by both drivers and users, Doonamis has developed an attractive and modern landing page to explain the key features of the project and provide direct access to markets for applications (Apple Store and Google Play).
Backoffice management
The system has a management back office where project managers can manage the platform’s users and drivers. It also records all activity related to the taxi run, thus automating the billing for said services.
